WEST COAST CRASH 2017-18 SEASON OVERVIEW

It was a long gruelling season for Crash with many highlights. Crash were looking to add a third league title to the club's history but just fell short after losing a few close games in the Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby league and ended up finishing second.

Next up Crash went on tour to the Egmont Open in Denmark. Some Burn players were given the opportunity to play in the Crash team to gain some experience at a higher level. The team performed consistently which crowned them the Champions of the 2018 Egmont Open!

Next up for Crash was the GBWR National Championships (sponsored by Roma). The team were looking to put the disappointment of missing out on the league championship behind them and were determined to win the Nationals. Crash carried on their good form from the Egmont Open & won the National Championships for the first time in the club's history by convincingly beating the newly crowned league champions in the final!

Overall it was a successful season for Crash winning 2 trophies and creating lots of memories. Next up is the 18/19 season which starts in October with the league competition getting underway. The team are training hard to equal and eclipse the success of last season.
