West Coast Crash can today confirm the signing of Neville Burrell from East Midlands Marauders.
Burrell, a 1.0, brings with him 18 years of experience playing both at international and national level. He first made his debut for Marauders at the age of 27 and has been a stalwart for the Nottingham based side ever since.
Burrell has also competed for Great Britain, when he was selected in 2006 to represent his country.
Speaking to Crash ‘Big Nev’ said “Crash was the only other club I wanted to play for. They’re a good club and are run by great people. I’m keen now to get going and help the team compete for first in both the league and nationals.”
Coach Alan Ash is said to be delighted with the signing too, speaking to Crash he said “Nev brings vast experience and helps to strengthen quite a few of our lines. He’s unique too in the sense that we can play him as a 0.5 since he is over 45.”
Burrell is set to make his competitive Crash debut next month against Canterbury Hellfire on Saturday 30th September.
